Mat anticorrosion alkyd primer for initial painting of metal surfaces to protect them from corrosion and moisture.

For indoor and outdoor use
Intended for initial painting of cast iron and steel surfaces. Recommended for use on steel structure surfaces in the period between their manufacturing and completion of assembly works. Applied as a primer for topcoat paints and enamels to enhance their protective and anticorrosive properties.

Method of use
Surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry, free from dust and loose particles. Carefully remove any rust and old chipping coats and degrease steel and cast iron substrates with extraction naphtha.
Stir the primer well before use. Where the coat is to be exposed to high corrosion load it is recommended to apply second coat after approx. 3 hours. Topcoat should be applied after 24 hours (or 72 hours for nitrocellulose and chlorinated rubber products). If necessary dilute the primer with solvent intended for alkyd products. Apply with brush, roller or pneumatic spray. Do not apply during atmospheric precipitation and shortly after rainfall while the surface is still wet or if the air humidity is too high.
Transport and storage
The product should be stored in sealed packaging in temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. Protect against frost.
Protect the eyes and skin; in the event of contact, wash with water immediately. Keep away from children. Secure the surroundings of surfaces painted. Remove any possible spoils without waiting for them to dry out.
